OnePlus has been in a weird place with its phone launches lately. The company had started releasing a regular variant of its phones alongside a pro variant. We thought there was going to be a OnePlus 10 and 10 Pro, but the former never came. We were all wondering why this was. Now, the OnePlus 10 Pro is on pre-order in the states.
A new leak shows us the OnePlus 10R
Now, it’s time to start getting ready for the OnePlus 10R. There’s not too much information on this device right now, but sources were able to scrape some details from within the company. According to Pricebaba, this phone will be a rebranded Realme GT Neo 3. That claim makes sense if you look at the renders provided with the report. The phone will have a large and boxy form with buttons on both sides. The most notable visual aspect of the device is the camera module. It doesn’t reflect what we saw in the OnePlus 10 Pro. The cameras are arranged in triangle configuration (just like with the Realme GT Neo 3). Not only that, but the camera module doesn’t melt into the phone’s frame like with the OnePlus 10 Pro. OnePlus usually puts its punch-holes on the top left of the display. With the OnePlus 10R, however, Pricebaba says that the punch-hole will be center-mounted (just like with the Realme GT Neo 3). Also, this phone is expected to ditch the hardware alert slider.
This phone could launch soon
Right now, we don’t have any official word on this phone, but sources claim that the company is currently testing the device out in India. It’s expected to launch sometime in Q2 of 2022, so there won’t be long to wait if you’re excited about this phone.
