The Galaxy Buds 2 earbuds got unboxed on YouTube, ahead of launch
The earbuds got unboxed by The Mobile Central YouTube channel. In this video, you’ll not only be able to check out the Buds 2 design, but you’ll get a rundown of its features, and setup with the Galaxy Wearable app. Let’s start from the top, shall we? What lies in the box? Aside from the charging case, and the earbuds themselves, you’ll find a USB-A to USB-C charging cable, some documentation, and extra ear tips. This particular pair of Buds 2 is green-colored (well, olive-colored, to be more accurate). Only the inside of the case and the earbuds themselves are green-colored, the outer portion of the charging case is white. That goes for every Buds 2 color variant, though. What’s interesting is that the Galaxy Wearable app hasn’t been fully updated to support these earbuds. That’s not surprising considering they haven’t launched yet. Still, it’s possible to pair them.
These earbuds will launch on August 11, along with a number of other devices
The Galaxy Buds 2 are expected to launch on August 11. That is the day of Samsung’s next ‘Unpacked’ event, as was confirmed by the company not long ago. During that event, Samsung will announce quite a few products. Aside from the Galaxy Buds 2, the company will also showcase the Galaxy Z Fold, Z Flip 3, Watch 4, and Watch 4 Classic. The Galaxy S21 FE was also supposed to arrive during that event, but its launch has been postponed. Nothing has been confirmed, but the chip shortage is allegedly to blame. Needless to say, August 11 will be a very interesting day for both Samsung and its fans.
