According to the latest community post, ASUS is officially starting the recruitment of Android 12 beta testers for the Zenfone 8 Flip smartphone. Earlier this month, ASUS released the Android 12 beta update for the ASUS Zenfone 8 device. So, this makes the ASUS Zenfone 8 Flip, the second device from the company, to enter the Android 12 beta testing phase. The Android 12 beta recruitment for ASUS Zenfone 8 Flip will allow select users to take a test drive of the latest software. Beta testers need to share their feedback about the software and help the company iron out the bugs before the stable Android 12 release. This time around, ASUS is looking to shift its gears in releasing the Android 12 update. The company has already announced its Android 12 update schedule for Zenfone and ROG flagship phones. Going by the official schedule, the ASUS ZenFone 8 and 8 Flip are slated to receive the latest Android 12 operating system in December 2021.

The Zenfone 8 Flip Android 12 beta program will be open till November 2021

After the Zenfone 8 series, the ROG Phone 5 and Phone 5S will receive Android 12 in Q1 of 2022. Finally, ASUS the Android 12 update will reach ROG Phone 3 and ZenFone 7 with ZenUI 8.0 in Q2 2022. If you own an ASUS Zenfone 8 Flip device then, you can enroll yourself for the Android 12 beta recruitment. In order to sign up, all you need to do is head over to Settings > System > System update. Here, tap the Gear icon located in the top-right corner and simply hit the “Enroll in the Beta Test program” button. After this, you would be required to create an ASUS member account. Then fill in the beta testing application and hit the Submit button. This will send your application for approval. After the approval, you will receive an update notification on your smartphone. As mentioned in the community post, the Android 12 beta recruitment for ASUS Zenfone 8 Flip will be open till November 2021. Do note that this is a closed beta program. So, users are strictly advised not to share any details or publicly post anything about the firmware. Users can post their feedback or queries on a special board on the ZenTalk forum, only meant for beta testers.
