Unlike the Project Sophia desk, the Enki Pro HyperSense isn’t a concept product. Though Razer didn’t announce any pricing or availability details, it’s coming. And we can’t wait. The main draw is that there are advanced haptics built right into the chair. Providing those who sit in this throne of wonders perhaps the most amazing immersive entertainment experience they could hope to have in a while. HyperSense is still fairly new for Razer but it’s already available in some of its headsets, debuting with the Kraken V3 Pro. And now Razer has brought that tech to its gaming chair line.
Razer partnered with game studios and streaming platforms for fully supported titles
The HyperSense technology is cool, but what really sets it off with this chair is the fact that it’s fully integrated with up to 2200 different titles across gaming and video. With games like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Forza Horizon 5, you can more easily transport into the world of the game. In addition to TV shows like The Witcher and others from Netflix, as well as content from Disney+. Basically, there’s a wide array of entertainment to enjoy. What’s more is that even non-supported content still has some direct input haptic support based on in-game actions. Though you might expect this to cost a lot, it probably won’t cost as much as the regular Enki Pro chair. The Enki Pro uses premium quality leather like Alcantara. But for the Enki Pro HyperSense Razer is using different materials. Such as eco-sustainable synthetic leather on the sides. And a soft fabric for the seat and the back. So already the chair uses less expensive materials for the outer covering. The haptics within the seat are designed in partnership with D Box. They provide a full range of vibrations, textures, and motions for amazing tactile feedback for the games you play, or the video content you watch. So things really feel like they come to life a lot more than you might imagine. The chair even has a Chroma Razer tri-snake logo on the headrest for a little extra flash. Though you won’t be able to see it while you’re sitting in it. It’s still a neat touch for any other time. More immersive gaming is awesome, and this is why the Enki Pro HyperSense won our Best Of CES 2022 award.
