The HONOR Magic4 Pro does put focus on photography, but it also focuses on ensuring really fluid performance. This is also one of the very few Android smartphones that offer 3D facial scanning aka advanced facial scanning, especially in this day and age. In other words, the phone is really trying to achieve a lot, it has a lot to offer.

Premium design with a circular camera island

The HONOR Magic4 Pro is made out of metal and glass/PU leather. It has a curved display, and a pill-shaped display camera hole in the top-left corner. That camera hole is there for a reason, not only is the front-facing camera hidden there, but sensors for advanced facial scanning. This facial scanning is, needless to say, more secure than your generic ones which use a selfie camera only. The phone does include really thin bezels, and an interesting circular camera island on the back. We’ll talk more about that a bit later on. Now, this curved display is actually quad-curved, as HONOR refers to it. In other words, it’s curved on all four sides. That display camera hole is branded as the ‘Eye of Muse’, by the company. HONOR even announced two different builds of the Magic4 Pro. The regular model is made out of metal and glass, while there is also a PU leather variant. That model comes in a single color, while the glass + metal combo is available in four different colors.

Specs for days

The HONOR Magic4 Pro is a flagship phone, and thus has flagship-grade specs. This smartphone is fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, Qualcomm’s most powerful SoC at the moment. A 6.81-inch quad-curved 2848 x 1312 LTPO OLED display is also a part of the package. This display can go from 1 to 120Hz, and it can upscale SDR to HDR content, and MEMC up to 120Hz. It also gets quite bright at 1,000 nits of peak brightness. A 1920Hz PWM Dimming is also a part of the package. You will get both LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 flash storage here. The company is offering 8GB and 12GB RAM variants, with 256GB and 512GB of storage. An ultrasonic fingerprint scanner is also included here, the second-gen one from Qualcomm.

100W wired AND wireless charging

Believe it or not, the HONOR Magic4 Pro not only offers 100W wired, but also 100W wireless charging support. Thanks to HONOR SuperCharge, this is possible, and yes, the charger is included in the box. This charging tech can get you from 0 to 50-percent in only 15 minutes. That goes for wireless charging as well, of course. For wireless charging, you’ll need HONOR’s very own wireless charger, of course, at least if you want to achieve such insane charging speeds.

Powerful camera hardware

The HONOR Magic4 Pro does come with quite a powerful camera hardware. There is a rather large circular camera island included on the back of this phone. You will find three cameras back there, a 50-megapixel main and ultrawide camera, in addition to a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto unit with 3.5x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom. A wide-angle camera (100-degree FoV) sits on the front, next to a 3D Depth Camera. Interesting software is packed here as well, with various features, and a focus on videography.
