Getting a Pixel 7 from Best Buy will get you free Google Fi through 2022
Do note that the offer applies for Unlocked devices, of course, carrier-locked, open-box, and refurbished devices do not qualify. You’ll need to use your purchased Pixel phone to sign up and activate a Fi Unlimited Plan as a new Fi customer. Do note that Data-only SIMs do not qualify. So, there is a catch here. You need to be a “new” Google Fi customer. In other words: “someone who has never had Fi service or someone whose last day of Fi service took place more than 180 days before the start of this promotion”. Just for clarity, the promotion officially started on October 7. Google announced its Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro phones quite recently. They kept the price tags from last year’s models. The two phones start at $599 and $899, respectively. You can grab them from Best Buy via the links below the article.
Both phones are fueled by the same SoC, and have the same main camera
They are fueled by the same processor, the Google Tensor G2. They also come with the same main camera, while the ultrawide camera is slightly different (wider FoV on the ‘Pro’ model). The ‘Pro’ variant also has a telephoto camera on the back. The Pixel 7 Pro does come with more RAM, and a larger, curved display, which also offers a higher resolution and refresh rate. Many people would say that the Pixel 7 is the better choice, though. It has most of the Pixel 7 Pro features, and it’s $300 more affordable. We’ve already reviewed the Pixel 7 Pro, while the Pixel 7 review is coming soon. Google did refine both smartphones compared to last year’s models, and they also include Face Unlock now. Android 13 comes pre-installed on both phones. Google Pixel 7 (Best Buy) Google Pixel 7 Pro (Best Buy)
