The Calendar Notification app keeps your agenda right next to your notifications
This may sound like an odd idea, but some of you may find it useful, for several reasons. First of all, you’ll hardly miss an appointment this way, and you can always glance at your agenda when you’re checking out your notifications. Another reason is… well, the app looks great, and it fits extremely well with most Android UIs. Different people may find this useful for different reasons. The thing is, this app also comes with quite a few customization options, so you can actually tweak it to your preference. Do note that many of these are locked behind a paywall, though.
The app is free to use, but a lot of features require a one-time payment
For example, you can set the notification to show you a full month widget, your agenda, or a combo. Only the month option is free, though, all the others are hidden behind a $4.99 paywall. This is not a subscription, though, it’s a one-time payment. You can also choose to keep an icon in the status bar when the calendar notification is active, or not, it’s up to you. That icon is also customizable, actually, so you can really tweak everything to your preference. When you tap on the Calendar Notification, from your lockscreen or notification shade, you can choose the calendar app in which you want it to open. For example, you can use Google Calendar in collaboration with this widget. Either way, the app is free to use, for basic features at least. It’s enough to get you an idea of what you’ll get. If you really do plan on using this app long term, getting the ‘Premium’ version may be worth it for you. You will get access to so many more features.
