This will allow players to swap classes if they want to test out a new main. All while keeping their level progression and paragon unlocks. But this isn’t the only new piece of content coming in tomorrow’s update. Blizzard is also launching a brand-new event called the Adventurer’s Path. This will be a limited time event that starts on July 20 ends on August 3. Players who complete the event’s various tasks can earn tiered rewards like Aspirant’s keys, a portrait frame, and one legendary crest. On top of that Blizzard is bringing the Hungering Moon event back for a second round starting on July 29 and ending on July 31.

Class change in Diablo Immortal can be done at no cost

Those worried that the class change feature was going to cost Eternal Orbs or Platinum, or God forbid some new type of currency, can rest easy. Blizzard has confirmed that the class change feature can be done at no cost. That doesn’t mean there aren’t any limitations though. Players will be able to change their class once every week. More specifically, once every seven days. Blizzard also states that it currently has no plans to allow players the ability to pay to speed up that time. Class change unlocks at level 35, so new players can check out a class and then switch fairly early on before they invest too much time into their first choice. Those who have reached the level cap and numerous paragon levels may want to think hard about this choice though. Once you change your class for the first time, you’ll get some placeholder gear that keeps the rank of your equipped gear from your previous class. Blizzard mentions nothing about legendary gear though. So presumably you’ll have to reacquire everything for your new class. Which is a pretty big setback, especially for those who have acquired almost every piece for the class they change from. You can also reset your paragon tree each time you change to each different class for the first time. Plus, your old class’s gear will be there if you choose to go back.

Look out for 36 new legendary items

One of the biggest things about Diablo is the loot grind. The highly coveted legendary gear and items players are able to find are usually what keep people playing. Good news for those who like to chase these pieces. This update is adding 36 new legendary items to the game. Six for each class. Blizzard is also making a series of changes to other game elements. Like raising the weekly cap of fading embers and allowing players to exchange Fa runes for a single legendary crest. There’s a new Helliquary boss being added to the game as well. And on August 2 players will be able to take on Gorgothra. So long as they have the required combat rating. You can read the full set of patch notes about tomorrow’s update here.
