This year on Disney+ Day, the company is releasing a few new movies to the platform, including ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ which did pretty well in the theaters over the summer. You can check out a teaser of Disney+ Day below.
What’s coming on Disney+ Day?
Disney+ Day is bringing quite a few movies that we expected to see. These include: Cars on the Road, Dancing with the Stars: The Pros’ Most Memorable Dances, Epic Adventures with Bertie Gregory, Frozen Sing-Along, Frozen 2 Sing-Along, Growing Up, Marvel Studios’ She-Hulk (episode 4), Marvel Studios’ Thor: Love and Thunder, Marvel Studios’ Assembled: The Making of Thor: Love and Thunder, Obi-Wan Kenobi: A Jedi’s Return, Pinocchio, Remembering, Welcome to the Club, Tierra Incognita, and much more. Dancing with the Stars is moving over to streaming on September 19, so Disney+ Day is bringing a look back on the 20 most memorable dances of the 30 seasons of the show. These were chosen by pro-dancers, Derek Hough, Kym Johnson, Cheryl Burke, and Brandon Armstrong will host. Star Wars will also be presenting never-before-seen behind-the-scenes footage, colorful personal stories, and meaningful moments in the special “Obi-Wan Kenobi: A Jedi’s Return”. AMC Theaters will also be doing special screenings on Disney+ Day for some Disney titles. These include: Encanto, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Thor: Ragnarok, Cars and Newsies among others. Tickets will cost just $5 per screening and is available to everyone. Those that do attend, will get a free Disney+ poster while supplies last. Tickets will go on sale on September 1.
