The Galaxy S21 FE rear covers appear to show the phone’s colors, and camera design
The colors that will be available are black, purple, white, and light green. Do note that the light green color here doesn’t exactly look light green, and that white color will be more of a gray-ish one. We’ve leaked all four colors of the Galaxy S21 FE way back in July. Having said that, you’ll notice that there are three camera cutouts on this backplate. The Galaxy S21 FE will include three rear cameras, and an LED flash next to them. Those three cameras will protrude on the back. The rumored camera sensors are 12-megapixel ones for the wide and ultrawide cameras, and a 64-megapixel one for the telephoto camera. A 32-megapixel camera has been rumored for the front of the device.
The phone’s backplate will be made out of plastic
This backplate will almost certainly be made out of plastic, not glass. That was the case with the Galaxy S20 FE as well, so it’s not exactly a surprise. The Galaxy S22 is also expected to offer a plastic backplate, but we’ll see. Samsung was planning to announce the Galaxy S21 FE way back in August. That didn’t happen, and neither did the October launch event that was planned. The chip shortage is to blame. The Galaxy S21 FE will, almost certainly, launch in January, though. Some rumors say that it will launch after CES (Consumer Electronics Show), while yesterday’s rumor claimed that it will arrive during the show. It remains to be seen which rumor is accurate. The Galaxy S21 FE will be a direct successor to the Galaxy S20 FE, and Samsung will have to offer it with an extremely appealing price tag. Why? Well, the Galaxy S22 series is expected to launch about a month after this device.
