Samsung allegedly plans to open Galaxy S22 pre-orders in February 2022
He says that Samsung plans to open pre-orders for the Galaxy S22 series in week six of 2022. That means that pre-orders will kick off in the second week of February. The source did not share an exact date, though. Now, this basically means that the devices will become official in February as well. That is not surprising as it was reported that the Galaxy S21 FE launch has been moved to January. As a reminder, the Galaxy S21 FE was initially supposed to launch in August. It got postponed to October, and then it got postponed again. The reason for it? Well, chip shortage, plain and simple, at least if rumors and logic are to be believed. Samsung wanted to launch that handset quite some time ago, but it simply couldn’t secure enough chips to do it. January launch seems most likely at the moment, unless Samsung decided to drop the entire project, which has also been rumored.
It’s a bit odd the Galaxy S21 FE will arrive only a month before the Galaxy S22
Some of you may think there’s no point in launching the Galaxy S21 FE so late, as the Galaxy S22 series is coming in February. Well, truth be said, I don’t either, though if Samsung ends up offering the Galaxy S21 FE for an extremely appealing price, I can see the logic in it. Samsung will have to get the price tag for the Galaxy S21 FE just right, and shock consumers, basically. In addition to offering a great product, its price tag will play a huge role here. It will be hard to resist the Galaxy S22 series that will launch about a month after the Galaxy S21 FE. The Galaxy S22 series has been leaking for quite some time now, and the same goes for the Galaxy S21 FE. You can get more information about the Galaxy S21 FE in our preview. Samsung is expected to announce three Galaxy S22 series handsets, the Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra. The ‘Ultra’ will differentiate itself when it comes to the design, and it will also ship with the S Pen stylus. Not only will it include it, but it will include a dock for it. That handset is supposed to replace the Galaxy Note series entirely, it seems.
