As of this writing, the original clamshell foldable and its slightly younger 5G sibling are eligible for the beta program in South Korea (via). But, Samsung may soon expand the availability to other regions too. The company has also launched Android 13 betas in the US, the UK, Germany, Poland, China, and India, though availability varies by device. If not all seven markets, the Galaxy Z Flip duo should get beta programs in a few of them. Maybe in the US too, we have to wait and see. If you’re using the Galaxy Z Flip or the Galaxy Z Flip 5G in any of the aforementioned seven countries, you can check if Android 13 is available in your region from the Samsung Members app. If available, you will find a notice about it on the homepage of this app. Tapping on this notice will take you to the registration page. You may need to sign in with your Samsung account for registration. Once completed, the beta update will roll out over the air (OTA) as a regular software update within an hour. You can check for it from the Settings app, under the Software update menu.
More Galaxy devices will receive the stable Android 13 update in the coming days
As said earlier, the stable Android 13 update is rolling out to the Galaxy S22 series today. The update is already live in many parts of the world, including markets where Samsung didn’t run the beta program. All eligible Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra units should pick up the new Android version complete with One UI 5.0 over the next few days. The Korean firm should then release the update for other Galaxy devices that got the beta program, though not necessarily in the aforementioned order. Rest assured, we will let you know when the updates roll out.
