So far it looks like there are going to be two different models to choose from. One version for men and one version for women. With three different styles for each. Both versions of the watch will be powered by the Snapdragon Wear 4100+ chipset, and come with 8GB of internal memory for storage of apps. They also both come with a 1.28-inch display. And although these are arriving after the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, they’ll be running on Wear OS 2. However, since they are using the Snapdragon Wear 4100+, they could end up getting the Wear OS 3 update sometime next year.
Leaked Fossil Gen 6 images show six different styles
There are going to be three different styles for each version of the watch. The Men’s version shows one with a leather-wrapped silicone strap, one with a silicone strap, and one with a metal band. Whereas the women’s version has one silicone strap option and to metal band options. Other differences include the size of the watch case itself, which will be 44mm or 42mm depending on the model you pick. This will also impact the size of the watch straps and bands. The women’s models also have gem-encrusted bezels, and one of them has gems in the band as well. These are also said to be water-resistant up to a 50-meter depth, come with Bluetooth 5.0 and GPS, and offer Blood Oxygen Saturations sensors.
The Fossil Gen 6 could launch on Sep. 27 and Start at €299
While all of the specs for the watch haven’t been revealed yet, it seems the release date and the prices (for Europe at least) may have. According to the leak from WinFuture, the Fossil Gen 6 may end up launching in Germany on September 27. Prices will reportedly start at €299, with an additional €329 option as well. It wasn’t made clear exactly which model would cost which price. But chances are the two women’s models with the gem-encrusted details will be more expensive. Since all of the hardware inside is the same.
