Samsung has opened pre-orders for all three models today, and they will start shipping on February 25. The Galaxy S22 starts at $799, while the S22+ starts at $999. And the Galaxy S22 Ultra will start at $1,199.
What promos are Samsung offering with the Galaxy S22?
Samsung is offering a rather unique promotion with the Galaxy S22, for those that pre-order before February 25. That is, a free memory upgrade (technically, it’s storage unless you’re getting the Ultra). Basically, if you buy the 128GB model, you will get upgraded to the 256GB model for free. The same goes for the 256GB, and 512GB models, you’d get upgraded to 512GB or 1TB respectively. This is an interesting promotion, as you’re getting double the storage, for free. And that means that everyone will be getting at least 256GB of storage on their new Galaxy S22 model. Samsung is also offering up to a $200 gift card to Samsung.com for pre-orders. Obviously, if you pre-order the Galaxy S22 Ultra, you’ll get the full $200. While the Galaxy S22 will get $100, and Galaxy S22+ will get $150. This is the typical pre-order promotion that Samsung does. As it allows you to get some accessories for your new phone, for free. Like some new cases, headphones, or even a charger – since there isn’t one in the box. The carriers will also likely have some special promos available for the Galaxy S22, which we should find out about pretty soon. Typically, they do a BOGO offer, which includes some trade-ins. Which is still eligible for the Samsung.com gift card, but likely not the free memory upgrade. Samsung is making it easier than ever to upgrade this year.
