How to check your 2021 PlayStation Stats Wrap-Up
Gamers can really wrack up the gameplay hours over the course of a year. With the last couple of years being, well, the way they were, gaming has become a more important part of people’s lives. This means that people have been putting more hours into their game systems than usual, and sometimes, they want to see just how many. To see your stats, and this should come as no surprise, you’ll need to have a PSN account. You’re going to want to go to the PlayStation Wrap-Up page on your phone or computer. You could probably access it using your console’s browser. From there, you’ll need to sign in to your PSN account and, after doing that, you’ll be greeted by your game stats for 2021. It’s as simple as that! There is a bit of a caveat, however. If you haven’t really played your PlayStation consoles in the past year, you won’t be able to see your stats. To see them, you will need to have at least 10 hours of total gameplay logged on your account. If not, then you will be greeted with an “Error 404” page.
The Wrap-Up shows you how many hours you played
Sony really gives you a pretty in-depth description of your gameplay in the past year. When you access your stats, you’ll see several pages with different statistics on your gaming habits. These stats take into account what games you played, how many you played, how you played them, which system you used, and more. The Hours Breakdown is just that; it lets you know how many hours you’ve been playing in total. First, it shows you the systems you used in the past year (either PS4 or PS5) and how many hours you put into each one. Below that information, it further breaks things down by showing you how much time you’ve played online versus locally. Also, it tells you how many days you’ve played in total and how many hours you put into VR.
It also shows you your trophies and top played games
Another panel shows you how much you’ve been playing games on PlayStation Plus. This one isn’t as in-depth as the Hours Breakdown, however. You’re shown how many games you added via PlayStation Plus and it gives you a percentage of those games you’ve cleared. There’s a panel that shows you how many trophies you earned throughout the year. Next, there’s a panel that shows you the top four games you’ve played throughout the year. The Wrap-Up shows you how those top four game ranks and how many hours you put into them. On another panel, it shows you how many games in total you played throughout the year.
Why else should you check your Wrap-Up?
The main reason for the Wrap-Up is to pique your curiosity about how much you’ve played last year, but just in case that’s not enough, Sony added in a perk that you can redeem. When you wrap up looking at your 2021 Wrap-Up, the company will give you some free avatars that you can redeem. Whether you’re a casual gamer or a hardcore gamer, it’s interesting to see just how much you’ve been mashing the buttons over a year. If you want to see how much you’ve been playing, please note that you have until February 20th to see your stats. At that point, the Wrap-up will be taken down and ready to start tracking your gameplay for this year.
