How To Delete A Playlist On Spotify
You can delete any playlist that you made, we’ll go over how to remove other playlists from your Spotify account a bit later. To get started, you’ll want to open Spotify (on any platform). Next, head to your Library, if you’re on the mobile app. If you’re on desktop, you’ll see playlists towards the bottom on the left-side of the app. Find the playlist you want to delete. On desktop: right-click, and select “Delete”. On the mobile app, click on the three-dot menu icon, and then select “Delete Playlist”. Next, Spotify will want you to confirm that you really would like to delete that playlist. Just select “Delete” and now that playlist is gone.
Note: Once you delete a playlist, you will not be able to recover it.
And just like that, the playlist is gone forever. You can repeat the process for any other playlists you want to get rid of.
How To Unfollow A Playlist on Spotify
If you subscribed to a playlist that is not yours, and you want to unsubscribe, that method is easy too. Click on the playlist you want to unsubscribe from or unfollow. Next, click on the heart (it should be green), and after you click it, it will turn black with a green border. Now you have unfollowed that playlist. So it will no longer show up in your library. Again, you can repeat this process for other playlists in your library. And unlike deleting your playlists, this does not delete the playlist, just removes it from your library.
