Pre-orders for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 opened on August 10, and will run through August 25. For those that pre-order, Samsung is bringing back the pretty popular pre-order bonus from the Galaxy S22 earlier this year. That is the fact that you’ll get a free storage upgrade. So if you order the 128GB model, you’ll get upgraded to 256GB. And if you order the 256GB model you’ll get upgraded to 512GB. Which is really nice to have. But that’s not all, Samsung is also giving pre-orders of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 a $100 Samsung credit, as well as a Standing Cover with Pen case, and finally you can get up to $1,000 off of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 with eligible trade-in. This is a pretty incredible deal, which is almost going to make the Galaxy Z Fold 4 free for many users.
What about the carriers?
The carriers – AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon will also be selling the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and pre-orders are opening today. Each carrier has their own pre-order bonuses too, which we’ll outline below. AT&T is basically offering the same freebies as Samsung.com, where you will get a free storage upgrade, and a Samsung case. Additionally, you can trade in any Galaxy phone in any condition from any year, and get $1,000 towards your Galaxy Z Fold 4 purchase. Which is a really nice promo to take advantage of. T-Mobile is offering the Galaxy Z Fold 4 for nearly half off with trade-in, if you are on the Magenta Max plan. Also Magenta Max users can get this free with a new line, both offer $1,000 off. Otherwise, you can get $500 off with a new line, or with trade-in, if you are on any other plan. You also get the same storage upgrade and a free case with T-Mobile. Verizon is also honoring Samsung’s free storage upgrade on the Galaxy Z Fold 4. You’ll also get up to $800 off of the new Galaxy Z Fold 4 with trade-in on a qualified 5G unlimited plan. If you switch over to Verizon, you’ll get a $200 Verizon eCard for switching. And finally, Verizon is offering 50% off on select Samsung phone cases, 25% on select Samsung chargers, and if you buy a Galaxy Z Fold 4, you’ll get $75 off of the Galaxy Buds2 Pro.
