There’s been a lot of talk about Bally Sports Plus since Sinclair announced it last year. A lot of sour opinions on the service, before launch, since these channels were included in cable and streaming TV packages, and now customers need to pay $20 per month to get it back, on another streaming service. Not to mention the fact, that you’ll only be able to see games that are in your market. You can find out more about Bally Sports Plus here.
How to sign up for Bally Sports Plus
First off, head to BallySports.com. Then click on “Watch” in the upper left corner.
A pop up will appear showing you what’s available in your Zip Code (that zip code might be slightly off, so you can correct that). To see Bally Sports Plus packages, click on the “See Packages” option.
On the next screen, you’ll see the monthly and yearly packages, as well as what teams are going to be available. I’m in the Bally Sports Detroit market, so the Tigers, Pistons and Red Wings are available for me. Choose your package to start your free trial. Then you’ll be directed to sign up or login to your Bally Sports account.
After that, it’ll show you the package you chose and its tax. And on the right side it’ll have you enter your payment information. You can choose to add a credit or debit card, or opt for PayPal.
Now that you’ve signed up, it’ll ask you to select your favorite teams, which will customize your Bally Sports Plus experience. This is going to be more helpful for those markets that have multiple MLB, NBA and/or NHL teams available.
And now you’re all set, you can start watching Bally Sports Plus.
