OnePlus 10T has three ways that you can take a screenshot on its device. And there is also support for scrolling screenshots.
How To Take A Screenshot On OnePlus 10T
Go to the screen that you want to take a screenshot of. Now tap and hold the Power and Volume Down button, until you see the screenshot animation happen. It’ll take a couple of seconds. After that, you’ll see that the screenshot was taken and appears in the lower-right hand corner. If you tap on it, you can edit it, save it and then share it from right there. Allowing you to crop it to a specific part of the screen. If you are on a screen that has a scroll bar (i.e. not the home screen or the app drawer), you will see a black button below the screenshot that says “Expanded Screenshot” tap that to start a scrolling screenshot. From there you can tap anywhere to stop the scrolling screenshot, or wait til it finishes capturing the entire screen. And you’ll then be taken to the edit screen.
How to use the three-finger gesture
Like some other smartphones, OnePlus does have another way to take a screenshot, since the Power + Volume Down button can be difficult to do at times. So you can use the three-finger gesture. To enable this, go to settings, then tap on System Settings. Now tap on Gestures & motions.
The second option will show the three-finger screenshot. Tap on the toggle to turn it on. Now you can swipe three fingers down on the screen to take a screenshot. This can be much easier than pressing power and volume down. And that’s it. That’s three ways you can use to take a screenshot on the OnePlus 10T.
How to take a partial or full screenshot: Touch and hold with three fingers
Another way, which was added in Oxygen OS 12, to take a screenshot on the OnePlus 10T, is by touching and holding three fingers on the screen. This can be used to take a full screenshot or a partial one. This does need to be turned on in the settings, so head over to Settings. Then tap on System Settings. Next, tap on Gestures & motions. Now you can tap on the toggle next to “touch and hold with 3 fingers to take screenshot”.
And you’re all set.
How to take a scrolling screenshot on OnePlus 10T
To take a scrolling screenshot, take a screenshot like normal. That’s pressing the volume down and power buttons together. Now on the left side where you see the screenshot, you’ll also see an option below it that says “Scroll” tap on that. Next, you’ll be taken into a new interface that will start slowly scrolling down the page. Once you’ve gotten all of the screenshot that you want, just tap on “Done”. Now you can edit it, share it or just click the check mark in the corner to be finished with it. That’s how you can take a scrolling screenshot on the OnePlus 10T.
