We’ve been following a ton of rumors about these phones, and we can start to paint a picture of how they will look. According to previous rumors, the Galaxy S23 phones won’t look too different from the Galaxy S22 phones released this year. We also know that most of these phones will be using a Snapdragon processor in lieu of Samsung’s in-house Exynos processors. Other than that, a lot of the information about these phones is still a mystery.
A leaked poster may have confirmed The design of a Galaxy S23 phones
We’re pretty sure that the Galaxy S23 Ultra will look identical to the Galaxy S22 Ultra. However, we haven’t gotten too much word on the lesser siblings. The Galaxy S23 and the Galaxy S23+ aren’t going to be quite as exciting as the Ultra variant, and we weren’t really expecting a huge design overhaul. However, according to this leaked poster, the two smaller Galaxy S23 devices may bring a notable change. The leaked poster is from a company called KT which is one of Korea’s biggest phone providers. The poster shows what we believe to be the smaller variants of the trio. Since this is a leak, you’ll want to take this news with a grain of salt. We see the rears of these phones, and we noticed a major difference with the camera bumps (or, lack thereof).
The Galaxy S22 phones had a camera bump that melted into the side of the frames. However, the Galaxy S23 phones seem to adopt the camera design of the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Each of the camera lenses could protrude individually from the glass panel. This gives them a more minimalist appearance.
The leak could have also confirmed the pre-order date
With this poster, we also get some information about the pre-order, and registration period. KT customers have the option to pre-register for these phones starting on December 23rd. A pre-registration doesn’t mean a pre-order. Basically, it lets Samsung know that you’re interested in the device, and might give you a better spot in the pre-order queue. Speaking of pre-ordering, the poster says that pre-orders for this device start on January 5th. If that’s true, then it means that Samsung’s next Unpacked event will take place on January 5th. Since this is a leak, we will have to wait on further confirmation. So, any of this information can change between now and the phones’ launch.
