Malicious Clicker has been found in 16 Android apps, delete them now!
Now, if you’ve downloaded and installed one of these apps, it’s not the worst thing you could have done. There’s much worse malware software out there. All these will do is completely flood you with ads. These apps have “automatically crawling ads in the background”. Do note that Google did remove them at this point, but there’s still a chance you have some of them installed, of course. So, what do they do exactly? They generate fake clicks for money, basically. They access a ton of websites without your approval or knowledge, and generate money for those sites. There is no way for users to know something is wrong, at least not directly. Such apps do affect battery life, and the general performance of the device. On top of that, your mobile data consumption will suffer as well.
Here’s a full list of these apps

If you do have any of them still installed, however, do uninstall them as soon as possible. It’s also worth noting that many of these apps had a ton of fake reviews attached to them.
