Geekbench shared some additional information about the Moto G GO
The device scored 141 points in the single-core, and 508 points in the multi-core test. Needless to say, that’s quite low, which is not surprising considering its internals. The phone will be fueled by the MediaTek Helio G25 SoC.
That SoC will be backed by 2GB of RAM, it would seem. Android 11 was mentioned here, though that could change by the time it launches. Needless to say, the phone will ship with the ‘Go’ edition of Android for budget phones. That being said, we may see a 3GB RAM variant of this phone as well. That’s basically all the information that Geekbench shared, but previous leaks had more to say. The device is expected to include a 13-megapixel main camera, backed by a 2-megapixel secondary camera. A 5-megapixel selfie unit was also mentioned. A fingerprint scanner will also be included, and sit on the phone’s back. You will also be able to find an audio jack on this smartphone, and a Type-C USB port. Having said that, the phone’s renders also appeared back in June, so we know what it will look like.
The phone will include a massive ‘chin’ below the display
The device, as you can see below, will include a massive ‘chin’ below the display. It will also incorporate a waterdrop display notch. Its fingerprint scanner will be included underneath the phone’s logo, basically.
A single speaker is expected on the phone, and we do know that a white variant of the device is coming. Well, its back will be white, while the front side will be black-colored. We’re not sure how much storage will the phone offer, but you will be able to expand it. This phone will include a microSD card slot, based on the information that surfaced in June. The Motorola G GO is expected to arrive soon, but we still don’t know when exactly.
