The Nothing Phone (1) will actually offer really capable cameras, it seems
According to the source, the camera performance of the Nothing Phone (1) is “quite good for the price”. He also added that the ultrawide camera sensor can take macro shots, thus rendering a smaller macro sensor unnecessary. On top of that, the tipster said that the Nothing Phone (1) will use an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. That’s what we assumed based on Nothing’s TikTok, as there was no light below the company’s employee when unlocking the phone. As a reminder, the Nothing Phone (1) is expected to include a 50-megapixel main camera, and a 16-megapixel ultrawide unit. Nothing already confirmed those will be wide and ultrawide units, by the way.
The device is coming on July 12
The Nothing Phone (1) will become official on July 12, so its launch is right around the corner. A ton of information already appeared, and we do know what the phone will look like exactly. It will be rather boxy. Its sides will be flat, as will its front and back. The corners will be curved, while the backplate will be see-through. Nothing included LED notification lights on the back, and the phone is expected to arrive in both white and black colors. The Snapdragon 778G+ will fuel this smartphone, while it will arrive in both 8GB and 12GB RAM models, allegedly. 33W wired charging is expected to be included, along with 15W wireless, and 5W reverse wireless charging. Android 12 will come pre-installed on the device, along with the Nothing OS, and the Nothing Launcher. As a reminder, the Nothing Phone (1) will become the company’s very first smartphone.
