The UK retailer has listed 24 protective cases for the Galaxy S22, 23 for the Galaxy S22+, and 19 Galaxy S22 Ultra. While we don’t have any images or renders to look at, the names in the listings, as well as the accompanying descriptions, reveal that all three models will have a handful of styles and material options for the accessories, with multiple color variants. We have Silicone Covers (with or without strap), Standing Covers, Clear Gel Cases, Leather Covers, Frame Covers, Smart LED View Overs, and Smart Clear View Covers. Color options include black, lavender, navy, white, light grey, transparent, burgundy, yellow, sky blue, coral, dark green, olive green, and more. Of these, the Frame Cover appears to be compatible only with the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+. The Galaxy S22 Ultra will not get it. The UK prices of these covers range between £6.99 (approx. $9) for the Clear Gel Case to £58.99 (~$79) for the Smart LED View Cover. Additionally, the retailer has listed a few covers for the Galaxy Tab S8 series as well. We have the Standing Cover, Book Cover, and Book Cover Keyboard. The latter two are only available for the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra though.
Galaxy S22 Ultra will have a built-in S Pen slot
Box.co.uk has also listed the S Pen that will come with the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Priced at £33.99 (~$45), we can see four color variants for the stylus pen: dark red, black, white, and green. Those are the same four colors that the handset itself will reportedly come in. That means the S Pen will be color-matching the device. Note that none of the above-mentioned protective cases for the Galaxy S22 Ultra, or any device for that matter, mentions the S Pen. Meaning, the phone will not require a separate holster for the stylus pen. So if you still had any doubt whether the handset will feature a built-in slot for the accessory, there you have it. The Galaxy S22 series is reported to break cover in early February next year. With one and a half months still to go, there’s enough time for Samsung to prepare more official accessories, including protective cases, for the upcoming devices. We expect to hear more about the new Galaxy flagships in the coming weeks as the company prepares for their launch.
