With today’s opening of the pre-orders, Samsung has an entirely new promotion for those interested in picking one of these up. If you pre-order the Odyssey Ark, Samsung will give you a $200 e-certificate. This is essentially a gift card that can be used to save money on products you buy from Samsung’s website. It cannot however be used in conjunction with the purchase of the Odyssey Ark.

Pre-order the Samsung Odyssey Ark to get a $200 e-certificate

You might not be able to use it on the monitor, but if there were anything else from Samsung you were hoping to acquire, the e-certificate would be good for that. For instance, you could upgrade your storage and grab Samsung’s awesome 980 Pro NVMe SSD. The 2TB model is $240. So if you used your $200 e-certificate you could bring that price down to just $40. That’s a steal for one of the best NVMe drives on the market right now. Which we’re currently using inside of our PS5 and it really helps with load times. Of course, if you’re buying it for the PS5 you’d want the 2TB model that comes with the heatsink, which is a $10 increase. Still, that would be $50 compared to $250. And those are sale prices as the regular costs for those drives are $299.99 and $279.99. While this is a nice deal, there is one big caveat that people should be aware of here. If you don’t use the e-certificate at checkout alongside the monitor, then Samsung says will send it to you in an email which could take up to 35 days. So you’re better off using it right away if you can. The $200 e-certificate also expires by December 31 of this year. So it does have to be used within the next few months. Samsung Odyssey Ark
