Essentially, the Freestyle is a projector with a built-in stand. Which allows you to point it at the ceiling, point it higher on the wall, or really anywhere. The Freestyle allows for rotation up to 180-degrees, so you can show high-quality video virtually anywhere. “The Freestyle is a one-of-a-kind projector geared towards ultimate versatility and flexibility to meet the consumers’ changing lifestyles,” said Simon Sung, Executive Vice President and Head of the Sales & Marketing Team of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. “Without the limitation in space and form factor, The Freestyle is a fun and versatile device that can be used in any way consumers prefer.”
The Freestyle can provide up to a 100-inch display
It’s a bit crazy because of its size, but Freestyle is able to provide up to a 100-inch screen for you to watch whatever you want on it. The sound quality is pretty decent on the Freestyle, this is thanks to the dual passive radiator, that enables a clean and deeper bass without distortion. And it’s also 360-degrees. Freestyle can be powered using a USB-C PD, and you can even run it off of a portable battery pack. What’s also interesting here is that the Freestyle can be used for mood lighting and can plug into an existing E26 light socket. Now that is something you don’t see everyday. Samsung has not announced pricing or availability for the Freestyle yet. That will likely come later this year. Though it is on display at CES in Las Vegas if you are in town for the show.
