A recent report claimed that Samsung only manufactured around 10,000 Galaxy S21 FE units. Needless to say, that is a very low number, so we were expecting more information regarding the matter.
The Galaxy S21 FE production issues seem to be over, mass production underway
In any case, the Galaxy S21 FE is expected to become official next month. We don’t really know when exactly will that happen, but there you go. Chances are it will get announced towards the end of the month, though. Most of you know that the Galaxy S21 FE was expected to launch back in August. The phone was expected to arrive during the company’s Unpacked event. It was supposed to launch alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3, Watch 4 series, and Buds 2. The company decided to postpone its launch, though, presumably because of the chip shortage. The Galaxy S21 FE is expected to utilize the Snapdragon 888, and Samsung probably didn’t have access to the necessary number of chips.
Samsung has high expectations for the Galaxy S21 FE
The Galaxy S20 FE was quite a popular smartphone, and was touted as being the flagship killer. The Galaxy S21 FE was supposed to succeed it, but some people will say it’s too late now. Is it, though? If Samsung gets the price right, quite a few people may be interested in this handset. The company will need to be on point with delivery dates, and be able to offer the phone in quite a few regions. The Galaxy S21 FE will look like a cross between the Galaxy S20 FE and S21, if the leaks are accurate. The phone will have quite powerful specs. Aside from the aforementioned chip, a 120Hz display is also expected, along with a compelling camera setup. An Exynos variant of the phone may also arrive.
