This new app will be available on Galaxy devices like the Galaxy S22 family. Which Samsung also just announced this morning alongside the Galaxy Tab S8. Think of the new Samsung digital wallet app as your one-stop shop for credit and debit cards, student IDs, vaccine cards, digital keys for your car, home, or office, and whatever other cards you may be able to store digitally. With it, you can quickly flash the pass and get through checkouts and checkpoints quickly. At least that’s the idea. Many states in the US have already banned the requirement of a vaccine passport to be shown to businesses and government entities. So, storing them digitally will do you just as much good as carrying around the physical card you’ve have received from when you got the vaccine.

Instead of the vaccine card, use the Samsung Digital Wallet for everything else

Showing your vaccine card may not really be necessary here in the states. At least in many locations. But it is still going to be a useful app for really anything else. Imagine being able to use the digital wallet for showing a student ID. Then switching to your debit card for payment right after. All without having to pull out any physical cards. Even better is the ability to use it for digital keys. Granted, you’ll need to have contact with something that accepts a digital key first. Otherwise it becomes another feature that really has no use to you. The fact that it’s there however, is what users should be excited about. In case they ever find the need for a digital key. Home from work and need to get inside the house? Use your digital key. Need to unlock your car and run to the store for something? Digital key. While you will need a Galaxy S22 to use the app, that’s all the more reason to consider a Galaxy S22. If you find the pp useful that is, and really want access to it in addition to having the latest hardware.
