A tipster called ‘Snoopy’ shared some information on Twitter. He tweeted out that the phone is coming with 12GB of RAM only, that there are no 8GB or 16GB versions. Do note that this information applies to Europe.
The most powerful Galaxy Z Fold 3 may have limited availability
Chances are that the same situation will be present in the US as well. It would be rather odd if a 16GB RAM variant doesn’t arrive, though, right? Well, yes, but it may be available… in China. This wouldn’t be the first time something like this happened, China tends to get different variants of existing devices from time to time. Not that you’ll need 16GB of RAM in a phone, but if you’re paying that much for a device, something like that is nice to have. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 has been leaking like crazy over the last couple of weeks. At this point there’s very little we don’t know about it. It will arrive alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 3, Watch 4, Watch 4 Classic, and Buds 2. The Galaxy S21 FE was also supposed to launch on August 11, but its launch has been postponed. That happened due to chip shortage, allegedly, and the phone may arrive in October instead.
Two foldables will arrive during Samsung’s ‘Unpacked’ event
Samsung will announce two foldables during the event, and the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is arguably the more hyped one. It will become the company’s first smartphone to offer an under-display camera. That camera will be placed on its main display. The device will also include three cameras on the back, and a camera on its secondary panel. This will also be the first foldable from the company to support the S Pen stylus.
