These CAD-based renders come from @xleaks7, with ChooseBestTech. Because these are based on CAD renderings, that means that this may not be 100% what we get this fall with the Pixel 7. There may be some details that are incorrect here. As we’ve seen with previous CAD-based renders. We also have some renders coming from SmartPrix. One thing that might be off, is the cameras. The cameras on the Pixel 7 series look pretty large compared to the Pixel 6 series. Now it could be that Google is using much larger sensors on the Pixel 7 series this year, but it’s unlikely. Considering Google just upgraded sensors last year, after using the same ones for nearly five generations of Pixel. It also shows, on the Pro at least, a sort of pill-shaped cut out for two cameras, with a third to the right of that, before the flash. Which looks odd.
The regular Pixel 7 isn’t getting a third camera
Rather unsurprising, but the Pixel 7 is likely not getting a third camera – or a telephoto lens. This is likely to help differentiate the Pixel 7 from the Pixel 7 Pro. But having a telephoto lens would be really nice to have there. Especially since Google does have the space. There are a few other small design tweaks here, like the discolored plastic window on the Pixel 6 Pro for mmWave antennas. That is gone. And instead, it has the same mmWave window as the Pixel 6 has. Which is a nice change here. Other than that, it looks mostly the same as the Pixel 6. That should come as no surprise. Google just did a big redesign for the Pixel last year. Now, we’re going to get a couple of years of refinements before another big design change.
