Xbox Series X | S will gain game streaming capabilities this holiday
There’s not an exact release date yet, but there is a release window. If you own a Series X | S console, cloud gaming will arrive sometime this holiday. Without an official release date, those that do have the means to try Xbox Game Pass cloud gaming on a different platform definitely should. This way they know what to expect when it arrives for consoles later in the year. Having said that, the experience could still prove different for people that test it on mobile through mobile data or Wi-Fi, compared to a console which might be hardwired.
Games will be labeled with a cloud icon
When the feature goes live, games will be easy to find and easy to spot. Since cloud gaming is an Xbox Game Pass feature, all the games for it will be in this app. Players will simply need to launch the Game Pass app and look for games that have cloud icon. As this will be the label to indicate which games can be streamed over the cloud and which ones can’t. Also worth keeping in mind is that this list of games does rotate.
