Warcraft Arclight Rumble, as the game is officially called, is perhaps best described as a Clash Royale clone. In all honesty that’s a very basic assessment and not really indicative of its true nature. Realistically, the game is much more than a clone of Clash Royale. Though, most people are certainly using that as a comparison.
A mobile strategy game, but make it Warcraft
Strategy games like this one feel like a dime a dozen on mobile devices. But none of those games are set in the Warcraft universe. Which is what no doubt makes this one so exciting for players. Warcraft is one of the largest game franchises on the planet, and the name alone is no doubt going to draw people in. But it’ll probably be the gameplay that keeps people coming back. Players can collect over 60 heroes and villains from across the Warcraft universe. Then pit those characters against opponents in a series of missions in the solo campaign, or duke it out against friends and other random players in PvP. The solo campaign has 70 missions, while the game also features co-op missions that you can play with friends if you like. Blizzard also says the game features raids for additional cooperative activities. Players can choose from a collection of five different families (factions), including the Alliance, Horde, Undead, Blackrock, and Beasts to set up their team. They must also choose a leader, each of which brings their own unique benefits to the field. If you’re eager to give this game a try, you’re in luck. Blizzard is planning for some regional closed betas soon. And you can even pre-register for the game right now on Google Play. Warcraft Arclight Rumble will also be launching for iOS but pre-registration is not yet available. If you want to check out the reveal trailer, you can watch that below.
