This month’s update makes it even more useful. As you’ll now be able to pin up to two games to the Quick Resume feature. This means you can make sure that whatever two games you pin will always stay in Quick Resume until you swap them out or remove them. Making it super simple to jump back into a game that you’ve put on standby. And as the name suggests, it lets you quickly resume your gameplay. A nifty feature indeed.
Remap the Xbox controller Share Button to a “wide range” of custom actions
Customization is key to a lot of people and understandably so. Because everyone is different, and most people like to do things their own unique way. With this month’s Xbox update, you’ll easily be able to customize the Share Button on the Xbox controller to a “wide range” of custom actions Microsoft says. This can include muting the audio on your TV, opening the friends list, and opening achievements. And there’s quite a few more actions on top of that. All of which you can access from the updated Xbox Accessories app. If you’ve never used the Xbox Accessories app before, now is a good time to familiarize yourself with thanks to the new features.
New & improved Audio Wizard
If you want to amplify your gaming experience on Xbox, don’t forget to check out the new & improved Audio Wizard. Which lets you verify your HDMI audio source and test all your speakers in the room. That is if you have any connected to the Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One consoles. The point here is making sure that your personal audio setup is giving you the best possible sound for your games and other entertainment on the console. As with the pin to Quick Resume, you’ll need to make sure your console is updated to the latest software to take advantage of this.
