The Xiaomi 12 Lite will include compelling specifications for a budget phone

According to this info, the Xiaomi 12 Lite will be a rather compelling mid-ranger. The phone is tipped to include a 6.55-inch fullHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. He did not mention whether it will be flat or curved, though, but a leak from a couple of months ago suggested it will be curved. The Snapdragon 778G SoC is said to fuel the phone, while Xiaomi plans to offer the device in both 6GB and 8GB RAM models. Those two models will include 128GB and 256GB of storage, respectively. A 4,500mAh battery was also mentioned, and the same goes for 67W wired charging. The tipster did not mention wireless charging, as it’s quite likely that the Xiaomi 12 Lite won’t offer it. Do note that a charger will be included in the box, though. Android 12 will come pre-installed on this phone, along with Xiaomi’s MIUI 13 skin. A side-facing fingerprint scanner is also expected, and the same goes for Hi-Res audio.

Three cameras will sit on the back, led by a 64-megapixel main unit

You can expect to see three cameras on the back. A 64-megapixel main camera (OIS) is tipped to be backed by an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 5-megapixel macro camera. A single 16-megapixel camera will likely sit on the phone’s front side. This handset will almost certainly look like the Xiaomi 12. You can expect really thin bezels to be a part of the offering, and the same goes for a centered display camera hole. We still don’t know when will this phone become official, though. If you’re wondering about the price tag, this phone could carry the same (or similar) price tag as its predecessor, which means it may end up costing around $300.
